We are SO EXCITED to FINALLY announce the strategic partnership between Read4Unity x @gsuc100 along with our pilot SITE partner: @statesboroymca! π
This partnership to expand K-8 diverse books access in statesboro & south GA is made possible thanks to the generosity of Georgia Southern University office of Diversity & Inclusion and other champions near & far! A huge shoutout to @gsuc100 - especially Jacob Hamilton and the leadership team- for taking on this project and standing with us. We couldnβt have done it without your support! Our immense gratitude goes to @littlefreelibrary for donating the 2 little free libraries and 300 books for our pilot event @statesboroymca in August!!
SAVE THE DATE for our PILOT librariesβ grand opening & book giveaways at Statesboro Family YMCA on August 13th, 2022 ππ FULL DETAILS coming soon. Our goal is to collect 600 k-8 diverse books for this project - to be distributed to our scholars in Statesboro via YMCA and other upcoming partners.

Our ambitious goal is to install 10 more Read4Unity x GSUC100 libraries at more site partners throughout south GA by the end of 2023. We also will be working with student groups in area universities / high schools to help us grow & sustain this mission!!
