NEW SITE PARTNER: @ ethnehealth

Meet our newest library site partner: @ethnehealth πŸ“šπŸ‘πŸΌβš•οΈπŸ₯β€οΈπŸ“š

Last week, to kick off #blackhistorymonth - we dropped off about 100 k-5 πŸ“šπŸ“šπŸ“š at Ethne Health non-profit community clinic in Clarkston, GA (known as the most diverse mile in America)!

We had a chance to meet some of the amazing staff (pictured) and discussed the importance of literacy as part of the clinic’s holistic mission.

Hear from Kimberly ( practice manager) :

β€œWe love our books for Read4Unity! It has helped our clinic be a β€œmedical home” where we can pull up a chair and read a book or point at pictures with our patients to help connect with them while they are waiting or to give them a gift when they might feel nervous. Our kids are beginning to go to the little free library when they arrive to see if new books are there. We love helping the kids and patients to practice their reading skills or to engage in a conversation over the beautiful pictures in the diverse books that Read4Unity provides for us!”

To champions who helped us share the books & team @littlefreelibrary who generously donated the library unit: THANK YOU!!!πŸ“šβ€οΈπŸ™πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

We couldn’t have done this without your support!
