Some of the highlights from 2021:
πPartnership with @ksurarebooks where we curated books for their little free library at the Bentley Rare Book museum. Still canβt believe Read4Unity is a part of this project!
π new partnership with @littlefreelibrary read in color launch in ATL! Still pinching ourselves for this opportunity!
π expanded our work in DC/DMV with an amazing new partner @joinnest - lookout 2022: we will diversify DC bookshelves together!
π Read4Unity co founder Yenny started her doctoral program @georgetownuniversity and partnered with GU law student org to cohost a successful book fair!
π partnerships with the amazing @kindcotton that results in 330 books donated! Also with @thehappyheadbandco with 40 books!!
π a continued partnership with @refugecoffeeco with another successful holiday book fair that resulted in over 400 books to be donated to partners in January!
π a new partnership with @the.abby.singer restaurant with multiple weeks book fairs that resulted in over 150 books for @morganoliverschool (will be donated in Jan)
π where are the books going? to ATL, DC, OKC, Californiaβ¦all the way to UGANDA πΊπ¬!! We are proud to support these organizational recipients @mvkatl @jollyavegarden @morganoliverschool @thecollectiveeffect @dcdreamcenter as well as teachers and school administrators all over the nations who requested books via website!
