We believe literacy is a journey, not a race. It’s a road to human progress where every child, woman, and man can realize their full potential. This is the kind of mark we aspire to leave behind in the world, starting from where we are.

Maya Angelou said, “In diversity there is beauty and there is strength.”

There are plenty of seats at the table because we believe diversity is a powerful force towards creativity. As C.S Lewis says it best, “we read to know we are not alone.” We each decide the kind of mark we want to leave behind. All different but all significant.

Reading is dreaming with your eyes open. It makes our mind bloom. And we believe Creative minds inspire others. Like Brené Brown said, “Creativity is the way I share my soul with the World.” 

Creativity is contagious and it keeps on giving. It’s the kind of mark we aspire to pass on from our children to their children. 

In Harry Potter, Headmaster Albus Dumbledore said, “It is not our abilities that show what we truly are. It is our choices.” A reminder that despite our talent or creativity, our choices are who define us and leave a lasting mark.

If alone we can leave a mark that lasts, imagine what the world will be when together, collectively in unity, we leave lasting marks.
